I don't comment hither much—but the cumbersome, complicated, and counterintuitive pattern and operation of this app simply stuns me. It's dull, information technology's janky, and it looks like it's from another planet that is non familiar with human habits of listening to music or working a computer. Can you tell I don't like information technology?

This software gets worse instead of ameliorate. You used to be able to view your playlists in a list instead of by looking at a huge listing of pictures. This is just awful! Please don't take abroad features when you lot "update"! Ugh. I actually pay for this!

Since the BigSur update, this App no longer works on my MacBook Pro, and crashes the laptop every time. This has been reported on many site, by lots of people now. Amazon, fourth dimension to sort the app out.

After updating to BigSur Amazon Music causes a kernal panic and my Mac crashes hard (in 20 years of using a Mac this is the 5th fourth dimension something has washed this). Before this it was most a 3 or 4 star app. I love the ultra Hard disk, but the interface and finding music need an awful lot of assistance. Also probable 3 stars every bit it wants to load when the machine is restarted and takes a lot of effort to plow it off in more than than the usual ii places that manage this.

It would be MUCH better if information technology let you Cast Music to your Amazon Echo speakers similar Spotify Connect. (from a mac or pc) - Note the mobile allows you cast music to these other speakers or groups of speakers, but the desktop app does not. When you practice cast from mobile, it takes forever for the speaker to switch. Spotify connect is much simpler.

The Software just updated on my Mac. At present whenever I click to play something it crashes. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted reckoner....everything I tin remember of. Information technology will start up only fine, simply when I click to play ANYTHING, it only crashes. Is at that place a mode to install an older version.

Nope, it doesn't work. Running Mac OS 10.12.6 i7 MacBook Pro with 12GB RAM Will start first time simply after quitting application and starting once more a message proverb 'application is not open' appears. No kidding that why double-clicked to kickoff plan again. I am withal a glutton for penalty.

Non sure why all the 1 star reviews for this app. While the interface could be improved, I've had zero issues with finding music, adding favorites and streaming. I play near of my music via CD's I've ripped into iTunes, but when I desire to mind to something I don't own I utilize Amazon music and take never had a trouble.

I haven't had whatever issues with this app, though I use my Echos mostly for Amazon music. What I have a question nigh though is, How practise I add together an App to my Macupdate Watchlist with the new site layout? I don't see a push to follow anymore. I wanted to add this app. Thanks

It appears that at that place is a known problem with Amazon Music v7.4 and v7.5 where they crash on launch on many Macs. In that location are several threads on the issue in Amazon'south support forum. The last version that appears to be working reliably is seven.3.two.1595. Do not update the app until Amazon releases a fix.
